7 Reasons Why Alta is the Best Spring Break Option
Posted by Alta Peruvian,
When Spring Break starts to approach, people flock to the beach like birds flying south for the season. But at the Peruvian, we march to the beat of our own drum. In case you’re still considering the “beach vs. mountain” debate, here are 7 reasons why we think Alta is far superior to any beachside vacay.
The beach is too crowded
As we just mentioned, it seems like everyone and their mother heads to the beaches in March. Instead, why not getaway to a place that actually feels like you’re getting away.
Get your last licks in
The ski season is short. And, while we hate to say it, there are not many massive pow days left. You’ll have the whole summer to feel the heat and jump in the water. Come shred down the mountain one last time until next season.
The pow
The snowfall in Alta this season has been ridiculous, in a good way. We’ve had over 436 inches of snowfall to date and are expecting a few more storms. The base is currently at 124 inches!
Brand new menu
In case you missed it, there’s a new chef in town. Serving up southern comfort food, it’s the perfect way to fill up your empty stomach after a long day on the slopes. And on the mountain, you don’t have to worry about a beach body. So, eat up!
Après Ski
The snow is plentiful, the food is great, and the drinks are flowing. The Après Ski at Peruvian (aka P-Dog) can’t be beaten anywhere, certainly not by some DJ playing never-ending house music you don’t like on the hot sand. Whether you’re in P-Dog or the hot tub, we’re your kind of people on and off the mountain.
We have water too
Speaking of the pool and hot tubs, we have our own water holes. The people are always a good time and the temperature is always just right. We guarantee the beaches don’t have a mountain for you.
