New Season Means New Skis
Sure it’s a downer that the snow is not coming back for a few months. While we know you’re bummed about it, your skis (and knees) could probably use a breather. So as you recharge your body for opening weekend already circled on your calendar, think about what shape your gear is in. That’s what our highly skilled ski shop is here for.
Our ski shop technicians are the best in the Canyon. They eat, sleep, breathe and fix skis. While we’re closed for the offseason, our ski shop is still busy upgrading tools, equipment and knowledge for every skier’s needs. As you plan out your next stay’s itinerary, make time for a stop down at the ski shop to tune up or try something new.
Because we’re skiing experts, nothing but the highest quality materials are ordered and Wintersteiger machinery is used to bring your skis back to life before you head back out for the season or during your stay at the lodge. Our full-service shop offers full ski tune, edge wax, wax only and mounting services. The best part is that it’s overnight service guaranteed. That means you can check in, drop your skis off, grab a shotski and pick them up in the morning ready-to-go.
If you’re getting bored of ole reliable (we won’t tell her) and wanted to try something new you found while scrolling online, our full-service equipment demo program probably has what you’re looking for. All our demo skis are bought, tested and approved by our knowledgeable staff. And we’ve got something for both Crooked Mile and Baldy Chutes.
For the 2021/2022 season we will be offering Demo Skis from Nordica, Dynastar, Head, Elan and Kastle. Check out the Nordica Enforcer 94 for a ski that does it all, rip GS turns on the groomers, and then head to the Baldy Chutes for some steeps. The Dynastar M Free and M Pro are a favorite among Little Cottonwood Locals and can handle any terrain thrown at them. The Elan Ripstick line is known for making skiing more fun for all abilities, that’s what we’re trying to do right? The New Head Kore 93 and 105 have you covered if you like to keep the equipment light but still charge at will! The Kastle ZX 108 is a High Performance powder ski from a company known for quality and performance, at a price that wont break the bank. Lange Rx and Sx boots are available for those who need a full package.
While you ice your knees this summer, think about your skis as well. We’ll happily give your existing equipment some TLC or find you that new pair you’ve had your eye on for months. Make the ski shop as integral to your stay as P-Dawg and the mountain itself. And we’ll be firing it all back up mid-November, ready to rock and roll for what is sure to be another memorable powder skiing season at Alta.
