Yes, that cold, wet and white powdery stuff we just can’t get enough of blessed us with its shimmering presence this season — including more than 45 inches within a five-day space last month. In fact, St. Patrick’s Day marked a 100-inch base day (talk about the luck of the Irish!).
Even though we were interlodged for a few days — a terrific reason to grab a cold brew and reminisce with family and friends — 2018 is proving to be another snowy success.
We were happy to welcome photographer Matt Haas to the lodge last month, who captured the essence of winter in Alta — including our coveted snow bridge, which fills in the creek when there’s enough snow so skiers can return to the Peruvian directly from the slopes. Thanks, Mother Nature!
Here are a few of out favorite images captured by this talented photographer. Which is your favorite snowy scene?
