We’re One of The Best

After a long day of skiing, locals and guests mosey on over to the Peruvian Bar (better known locally as the P-Dog) for a cold beer on tap and a spirited game of ‘Ring on a String’ Toss. Deemed as “the quintessential Alta locals bar,” we’re pretty stoked that our funky little place has been acknowledged….and in a BIG way.

Here’s how: Last month, the P-Dog was recognized as one of the Best Après-Ski Bars in the country as part of 10Best Readers’ Choice travel award contest, sponsored by USA TODAY. Winners, which also included haunts in Vermont, Maine, Washington and more, were nominated by a panel of relevant experts. The panel included a combination of editors from USA TODAY and 10Best.com, and relevant expert contributors. Winners were chosen via an online voting contest by the readers of USA TODAY and 10Best.

Thank you to all of our supporters for letting us know that we’re one of the best après ski bars out there. No seriously, we’re still blushing from all the attention! Rest assure, this won’t go to our heads. We’ll keep doing what we’ve always done – creating a fun environment where guests and locals always feel welcome and can enjoy great drinks, snacks and a big shotski, if desired.
